For those that Missed our 4th Annual Oil Heat Retreat
Or even those that did attend
This past year our event was held in Wakefield, MA – a suburb of Boston. The location was outstanding. Folks could go into Boston or visit the beach. For those of you who haven’t visited the northern portion of the Atlantic Ocean, you are missing a wonderful opportunity. The beaches are much more natural than either the Jersey beaches or the southern beaches.
We hosted a social Thursday evening and Friday folks were free to roam the area. That evening our group visited Woodman’s of Essex for a traditional New England Dinner (that means good old fried seafood). After dinner we went into Salem where our tour guide walked us thru the area. And yes, it rained again. There must be something about ghosts, NAOHSM and bad weather?
Saturday our group held its fall board meeting while the ladies were treated to a trip to Rockport. Even with the torrential rain they had fun and enjoyed the beautiful view of the ocean from the restaurant. In the afternoon, Dan Holohan moderated a discussion about our name. The group agreed to a proposed name change and at our March meeting that will be presented. To learn more about that, members can read the minutes by going into our member section.
Saturday evening the group enjoyed a closing dinner.
Next year our event will be held in Lancaster PA – Lancaster City that is. A new convention center and Marriott recently opened. There is a tremendous amount of history in Lancaster City and those that attend the 5th Annual Oil Heat Retreat will learn all about our city – so save the dates of September 9-12th.

Yes, it rained again – something about Ghosts, NAOHSM and Rain.

Here lies a witch? Who knows, the Witchcraft Trails began Mar 1 and ended Sept 22, 1692 – just 6 long months.

A nice social evening was had by all.
